Setting Up Facebook Social Login on WordPress Site

To use AIO Login Pro, make sure the AIO Login (free version) is installed and activated. The Pro plugin relies on it to unlock advanced features for smooth operation.

To set up Facebook Social Login, Navigate to your WordPress dashboard and go to AIO Login > Customize > Social Login.

Then Toggle ON the “Facebook” and click on Configure button.

You will be prompted with the Getting Started dialogue box. Copy & save the Redirect URL & click on the Next button.

Enter the App ID & App Secret.

After entering credentials, click on Next. Amazingly you can also customize the Login Label Text & Logout Label Text.

Yay! You have successfully set up Google Social Login. After the successful setup the Front-end would look somewhat like this.

Meta Developers Setup

Open your web browser and go to Meta for Developers.

Click on “Log in with Facebook” or “Create new account” if you don’t already have one.

Creating a Developer Account

If you are new to Meta for Developers, follow these steps:

1. Click “Get Started” and accept the Meta Developer Terms.

2. Register & verify your account via SMS or email.

3. Provide necessary contact information and complete your profile.

Registering a New App

Once you have created an account, create an app following these steps:

1. In the Apps section, click the “Create App” button.

2. Enter the App details.(App name & App contact email)

3. Select the use cases you want to enable for your app. For now, select “Other” to explore additional product and data permissions. (Recommended for Facebook Login integration)

4. Choose between two app types:

A ) Business – Suitable for managing business assets like Pages, Ads, Messenger, WhatsApp, and Instagram.
B ) Consumer (Recommended for Facebook Login integration) – Used for integrating consumer-related features like Facebook Login.

5. Click Next to proceed.

6. You should link a business portfolio if your app requires specific products and permissions. Otherwise, you can select “No business portfolio selected” to proceed without connecting one.

7. Click “Create App” and complete security verification.

Setting Up Facebook Login

1. Click “Set Up” in the app dashboard under the Facebook Login product.

2. Navigate to Facebook Login → Settings in the left-hand menu.
3. Locate the Client OAuth Settings section.
4. Under the Valid OAuth Redirect URL section, paste the required redirect URL.
5. You will find this Redirect URL from AIO Login plugin.

Generating App Credentials

1. Go to Settings > Basic to locate the App ID and App Secret.
2. Utilize these credentials to set up the login feature on your website or app.
