How to Set Up Discord Social Login

Follow the steps below to configure Discord login integration in WordPress.

Step 1: Access Social Login Settings

Navigate to WordPress Dashboard → AIO Login → Social Login

Find the Discord integration card, enable it, and click Configure to launch the setup wizard.

Step 2: Copy Callback URL (Wizard Step 1)

The setup wizard displays your Discord OAuth callback URL.

Example:

https://yourdomain.com/aio-login-discord-callback

Important: Copy the callback URL exactly as shown. Do not add a trailing slash or modify it.

Click Next.

How to create a Discord Application

• Go to the Discord Developer Portal:
• Click New Application (or select an existing one)

• Enter an application name (e.g., My WordPress Login)
• Click Create to Complete the following Discord OAuth setup inside your developer account.

How to configure OAuth2 Credentials

1. Open your application and navigate to:
   OAuth2 → General

2. Copy your Client ID
3. Under Client Secret, click Reset Secret (or copy existing)

Important: Save your Client Secret immediately. It may not be visible again.

4. Scroll to Redirects
5. Click Add Redirect and paste your callback URL:

https://yourdomain.com/aio-login-discord-callback

6. Click Save Changes

Step 3: Enter Credentials (Wizard Step 2)

Return to AIO Login Pro and enter:

• Application Name (for internal reference)
• Client ID (from Discord)
• Client Secret (from Discord)
• Generate URL (auto-filled by the plugin)

Required: All mandatory fields must be completed for the integration to work.

Note: The user’s Discord display name (global_name or username#discriminator) is used as the WordPress display name for new accounts.

Click Next.

Step 4: Customize Login Button (Wizard Step 3)

• Login Label – Default: Continue with Discord
• Logout Label – Default: Logout

Click Finish to save your configuration.

Verify Discord Login Integration

To ensure everything is working correctly:

• Visit your WordPress login page
• Confirm the Discord login button is visible
• Click the button and verify redirection to Discord
• Authorize access and confirm successful login

Your WordPress Discord integration is now fully active.
